This man was charged with driving on a suspended license, the State could not show that he knew his license was suspended and the charges were reduced.

This man was charged with possession of crack cocaine. He is a successful businessman, in his fifties, several grown children, and had never been in trouble before. However, he had a substance abuse problem. He was diligent in getting drug addiction counseling. After negotiations, the State decided never to file any formal charges against him.

In this case, a 20 year old college student was charged with DUI after he failed field sobriety tests and blew a .11. The Defendant's parents were harder on him than any penalty the State could have ever imposed. Following negotiations with the arresting officer, the parents, and prosecutor, the charges were reduced so that the Defendant did not have a DUI on his record.
"Thanks Again! For all you did for me. My probation ends mid-Sept. I just purchased my last probation money order to send in. Yippee! I'm going to Paris with in September and we're going to celebrate."
This case was a difficult case. The Defendant blew above the legal limit (.092) and did not perform well on the field sobriety test. After presenting evidence to the prosecutor that the Defendant suffered from severe attention deficit disorder and would not be able to perform field tests, the State reduced the case to a reckless driving so that the DUI would be dismissed.

This woman was charged with allowing a minor to use her driver's license to purchase alcohol. Yes, this is a misdemeanor. She resided in Indiana and did not want to return to Atlanta. We were able to resolve the case with the Defendant doing some community service in Indiana in exchange for the charges to be dropped.
