Mr. Kohn graduated from Emory University in 1994, where he received his Bachelor of Arts. After a few years in the securities industry, he attended Georgia State Law School where he received his juris doctor in 1998, graduating summa cum laude. While going to school for his law degree, Mr. Kohn worked 40 hours a week as a law clerk for his current partner, Attorney William C. Head. Mr. Kohn is a member of several highly-esteemed legal organizations, including National College of DUI Defense, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Because of his in-depth knowledge on the topic of DUI, Mr. Kohn has been a speaker at several DUI programs across the state. His past seminars include: Defending Drinking Drivers, Defending a DUI, Defending Traffic Cases, Analyzing DUI Cases for Trial in Georgia, Recent DUI Law in Georgia, and Handling Administrative Driver’s License Suspensions and Revocations. He has also been the chairman for several statewide DUI trial programs for his fellow attorneys and judges.
