Lawrence Kohn After graduating seventh in his class from Emory University and Georgia State University of Law, attorney Lawrence A. Kohn first served as chief law clerk to our firm's founder, William C. Head.

Once admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1998, Mr. Kohn immediately accepted a position with Head, Thomas, Webb and Willis. Since that time, he has become an expert on DUI and traffic law cases, attending the National College for DUI Defense at Harvard University as well as numerous other prestigious seminars.

With a specialty in administrative license suspensions and revocations, Mr. Kohn frequently speaks on Georgia DUI law topics. He has given presentations on DUI defense, analyzing DUI cases for trial in Georgia and traffic law defense. His areas of expertise include criminal and DUI law as well as personal injury and litigation cases.

A member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense, Mr. Kohn is NHTSA-certified to teach police officers to give field sobriety tests and is also fluent in Spanish. Since trying his first case in 1998, Mr. Kohn has handled hundreds of criminal cases and has a successful record of winning trials and having charges dropped or reduced.
